I began blogging to record of my journey to discover new ways to tap in to my creativity by becoming an artist and photographer. Capturing the sparkling moments along the way. 

 My journey started last autumn when I began thinking about my upcoming 60th birthday (it happened in April - I had a fab time) I realized that I spent a lot of my creative energy on my work and wondered what the outlet for my creativity could be when I retired in about three years time. Around the same time I discovered Kat Sloma’s exploring with a camera challenge and Amelia Critchlow’s experimental art e-course - within minutes I had signed up to both and haven’t looked back. I am, in fact, in real danger of becoming an e-course junkie (now on my 7th). Its perhaps not so surprising that I have taken to photography - though photoshop is a huge challenge - as I have always taken photos. More surprising is the art as I had not picked up a paint brush in around 50 years!

 I would be thrilled if you decide to join me on my journey of discovery.
